Lanson Vintage Collection Champagne 1976 is a blend of 53% Chardonnay and 47% Pinot Noir. Lanson has released a special collection of truly remarkable fine vintage champagnes, each converted bottle has been carefully curated by Hervé Dantan the Chef des Caves since 2015. Every bottle in this vintage collection is a combination of the finest grapes from a single vintage year, which undergo extensive lees ageing, yet retain the Lanson spirit of Champagnes that are fruity, powerful, crisp and elegant.
Currently available for Pre-Order only, 6-8 week lead time as the Special Vintage Collection will be sent upon order directly from Lanson Cellars in France.

Grape: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir
A frosty and cold winter and start to the vintage. Followed by warm and dry June and July, allowing for steady ripening and concentration of flavours before harvest.
Despite its age retains youthful freshness with aromas of stonefruits, rich buttery pastry and red apples. Creamy mouth texture combines with candied orange peel, quince jelly, citrus, hazelnuts and fresh acidity on the finish.
Pairs with lightly smoked foods, mature cheeses. Also delicious with truffle-based dishes.
