Lanson Brut Extra Age Champagne is a blend of Premier and Grand Cru Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from multiple outstanding vintage years.
Made up of a blend of 40% Chardonnay from the Cote de Blancs and 60% Pinot Noir from the finest areas of Verzenay and Bouzy, the Lanson Extra Age uses three vintages: 2004, 2005 and 2006.
For 250 years Lanson have chosen to avoid malolactic fermentation - a decision that ensures their champagne preserves a naturally crisp and fresh taste. Unlike many others Lanson also insist on at least 3 years of cellar ageing.
