Henri Giraud PR 90-20 Champagne 75cl
Henri Giraud PR 90-20 is a blend of 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay and exemplifies the House's commitment to blending tradition with innovation. The Perpetual Réserve Brut Cuvée combines wines from 1990 to 2020, which results in a harmoniously complex expression of the Aÿ Grand Cru terroir.
PR 90-20 introduces amazing energy to a great white wine and opens up a whole new dimension: one in which space and time are suspended, and in which complexity, fruit, and spirituality intertwine with shimmering wreaths of orange blossom shot through with flashes of chalk and bitter minerality.
Using 1/3 Grand Cru reserve wine from the solera started in 1990, designated for Giraud’s MV Fût de Chène, 2/3 would be from an older “Esprit Nature” solera dating to the 1950s.
