Heartland Directors' Cut Shiraz Australia 75cl
Heartland Directors' Cut 2019 Shiraz is a premium wine that showcases the best that Langhorne Creek, South Australia has to offer. It is Heartland's flagship wine and is made from the finest selection of Shiraz from each vintage. As with films, the director's cut is regarded as the definitive version - no compromises. Only the very best grapes from the harvest make the "cut".
The wine has been matured for 14 months in French oak hogsheads; 60% new and 40% used. The result is a full-bodied, rich wine with a gorgeous dark purple color and aromas of black fruits, cocoa, and spices.
Heartland Wines is a joint venture from industry veterans and lifelong mates Ben Glaetzer (of Glaetzer Wines fame) and Nick Keukenmeester in Langhorne Creek, South Australia. From its inception in 1999, Heartland’s ethos has been to create wines of balance, texture and a distinctive Australian identity, with a focus on Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz.
