Grape: Chardonnay
Presenting as pale gold in colour, the bouquet is dominated by bright aromas of citrus and orchard fruit. In the mouth, the wine is energetic and elegant, showcasing flavours of green apple, lemon, honey and ripe pear; all complemented by a saline, stony minerality. Aging in the barrel and fermentation have added lovely sweet, toasted spice flavours, and brought some weight to the palate.
The perfect pairing for fresh seafood and fish, namely, scallop ceviche, simply dressed crab or langoustines in a lemon butter sauce.
