'92 points. This has aromas of very ripe strawberry and herbal notes with oak spice adding sweeter elements. The palate has supple red-cherry and strawberry flavors, set in round, rich and ripe style. Drink now.' - James Suckling
Grape: Pinot Noir
The 2020 vintage will be remembered as another dry year, posing challenges to yields. The winter months saw a below average level of rainfall, with temperamental weather during the spring months. The ripening season was hot and dry meaning, despite the challenges early in the year, the resulting grapes were of excellent quality.
On the nose, fresh aromas of strawberry, red cherry and raspberry fruits are followed by a silky palate with subtle notes of oak. The finish is long and gently fleshy with supple tannins that linger.
