G.H. Mumm Cordon Rouge Champagne 75cl is made from a blend of 50 different wines from a blend of up to 77 different vineyards with a high proportion of reserve wines from five different vintages. Brightly sparkling, light golden yellow liquid with an abundance of fine and elegant bubbles. Aromas of lemon and grapefruit, with notes of white peach, apricot and acidulous apple. Lingering notes of vanilla, dried fruit and honey. Complex fresh fruit and caramel flavours are the mark of a great wine. A touch of acidity and remarkable length in the mouth make a consistently delightful finish.

Cordon Rouge sums up the spirit, know-how and dynamism of the Mumm champagne house. A structured wine with a powerful finish.

The nose reveals initial aromas of ripe fresh fruit (white and yellow peaches, apricots), tropical notes (lychee and pineapple). It then opens up with the fragrance of vanilla before developing notes of milky caramel, breadcrumbs and yeast, culminating in aromas of dried fruit and honey. An explosion of freshness in the mouth, followed by strong persistence. The complex aromas of fresh fruit and caramel perpetuate the intensity.
