An aged molasses rum which has real herbs and spices which smells Christmassy which has been aged in casks for two years, and has a fairly dryish palate.
There is an immediate fragrance of star anise, vanilla, cloves and cinnamon, with some orange following along. On the palate fresh anise comes through prominently, developing into a complex array of sweet Caribbean spices with great balance between the spices and herbs and finishes with a slight ginger kick.
