Edi Simčič Chardonnay 2023 is a full-bodied Chardonnay that has been vinified in small oak barrels. It has delicate white peach and pear flavours that are layered with toasted nutes, sweet cream and a hint of smoke. It has a creamy texture and fresh finish.
Serve this wine slightly chilled, but not too cold (around 10°C to 12°C). If you have a bit of time, decant the bottle for 30 minutes before drinking. This allows the wine to "breathe," meaning oxygen interacts with the wine to open up its complex aromas.
