After an early budburst at the beginning of March, freezing temperatures in April affected the earliest vines. The maturation cycle was delayed by about ten days and the vines weren’t able to catch up during the season. This was because after a wet spring a dry summer followed. These weather conditions delayed the harvest which was from the 20th of August to the 15th of September and several different time slots were required to pick grapes on the same plot.Palate fruity refreshingChâteau Galoupet Cru Classé Rosé 2021 is a remarkably versatile wine: Enjoy it as an aperitif or with any meal from a spicy green curry to rosemary lamb chops.
