This single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is from Caliterra's 'Tributo' range, a step-up from the 'Reserva' wines. Produced from The El Quillay area, known for growing excellent Cabernet. The winery carried out a rigorous selection to ensure only the best quality grapes are used, producing a wine with added complexity and intensity. The wine was aged for a period of 14 months in oak barrels, 60% of which were American and the remaining 40% French.

Grape: Cabernet Sauvignon
A deep ruby colour in the glass. This has a pronounced aroma of blackberries, redcurrants and cassis notes, along with spices and tobacco. The wine is fruity on the palate, with ripe blackberries, cherries and a touch of black pepper and cinnamon. A well balanced full-bodied wine, this has solft tannins and a nice long finish. Enjoy young, this can also age a few years if cellared.
A good match with roast beef, and hard cheeses.
