Bolney Estate Lychgate Bacchus 2023 is dry and floral with a long, fruit-driven finish. The majority of the fruit was crush-destemmed which gives the wine notes of lime, elderflower and freshly cut grass.
The Bolney Wine Estate was established in 1972 when three acres of vines were planted to create what was then only the sixth commercial vineyard in England. Today, the Bolney Estate has grown to 15.8 hectares, and a state-of-the-art winery was added in 2005.

The 2013 has citrus aromas of lime, grapefruit and lemon zest, which are complemented by tropical and floral notes. The palate is zesty, vibrant and refreshing with a dry finish and bright acidity.
The Lychgate Bacchus works best with lighter dishes such as white fish, salads or lightly spiced Asian food.
