Au Bon Climat is famous for two things: making some of the best Burgundy style wines outside of, well, Burgundy and for the late Jim Clendenen, winemaker extraordinaire and one of the most irreverent characters to have graced the wine industry. We already know how great Jim’s style of food-oriented, balanced Chardonnays are but now you can take it one step further and find out how great he would have looked with long, flowing locks of blonde hair!
Psychedelic label design aside, this is a rich, full-bodied wine with lovely notes of toast, buttery creaminess and tropical fruit. A moderate but balancing level of acidity carries us through to a wonderfully long finish. One for the summer days!
