The Rare Rosé Vintage 2014 Champagne opens with an intense bouquet of dark and red fruits, namely black cherry, blackberry and strawberry. Notes of star anise and candied orange are also present on the nose, and extend onto the palate, to be complemented by flavours of brioche. The champagne showcases a great depth and culminates in a wonderfully prolonged finish.
This exquisite champagne would make the perfect pairing to Eton mess, fresh berry pavlova or a classic strawberry tart, with the fruitiness in the Rosé enhancing the natural sweetness of the berries. Incredibly versatile, the Rosé would also pair well with salmon, grilled lobster or tuna, and would also make a delicious addition to a meal of roasted duck or poultry.
