Corvina Veronese

Corvina is an Italian red wine grape and it is the grape used to produce the Amarone of Valpolicella and the Bardolino. By law, at least 30% of the two wines must have Rondinella grape and Molinara grape. A more complex expression of the Corvina grape is created by drying the grapes on straw mats before fermenting the grapes, producing this way the Ripasso or Recioto. Corvina grape is also known as Corvinone and the aromas and the taste are fully cherry – driven with hints of chocolate, molasses and vanilla.
