Nocello liqueur is a walnut- and hazelnut-flavored liqueur from Italy produced by the Toschi Vignola company of Savignano sul Panaro, Province of Modena, Emilia-Romagna, Italy. The company started in 1945 in a little workshop on the outskirts of Vignola, famous for its cherries. The Toschi brothers, Giancarlo and Lanfranco, faced with an unusually abundant harvest, are inspired with a touch of genius, they started to produce what was to be able to enjoy them all year round, “Frutta sotto Spirito” And thus the Toschi story begins.
Nocello is a liqueur made from walnuts and hazelnuts with an alcohol content of 24% by volume.
Perfect to be served straight, on the rocks or chilled, and it is a great wonderful addition to espresso coffee and cappuccino, and also as an ingredient in cocktails and long drinks.
Over the last few years, liqueur Nocello by Toschi has obtained several awards at international level. In 2008 and in 2010 it won the IWSC Silver medal in London.
