Pol Roger Brut Rose 2012 Champagne 75cl
Pol Roger Brut Rose 2012 Champagne is produced using a blend of 50% Pinot Noir and 35% Chardonnay from 20 Premier and Grand Crus in the Montagne de Reims and Cote des Blancs regions. The delicate, subtle nose is created from the 15% Pinot Noir from select vineyards in Bouzy, Ambonnay and Cumieres. This 15% is added to the blend prior to the second fermentation.
This vintage is well-structured with delicious ripe cherry flavours and a depth created by spicy notes. Savour this now to appreciate its freshness however this will also keep for many years and will only become richer and more opulent with time.Read more...

Each variety used to this vintage is kept completely separate until blending. The second fermentation takes place in the bottle in Pol Roger's cellars before hand-riddling takes place. The fine and persistent mousse that is classic of the Pol Roger style is owed to the depth, coolness and dampness of their cellars which lie 33 metres below street level.
