Moët & Chandon Grand Vintage 2009 Champagne 75cl
The spirit of the Moet & Chandon Grand Vintage is based on three main principles: Freedom of interpretation, selection of the year's most remarkable wines, and individuality of the vintage.
The 2009 is the 73rd Grand Vintage release for Moet & Chandon and is the first that has Pinot Noir dominant in the blend for many years, with a grape blend of 50% Pinot Noir, 36% Chardonnay, and 14% Pinot Meunier.

Grape: Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier, Pinot Noir
The 2009 vintage year was characterised by a harsh cold and dry winter that was followed by a sun-filled Summer with almost no rain in August and September. This vintage is incomparable in terms of grape quality, with a consistent fresh and crunchy harvest.
The dominance of the Pinot Noir offers a controlled power to this full-bodied champagne. With notes of mild spices and honey, there is an underscore of nuanced pink grapefruit. The palate is simultaneously generous, structured and airy.
