M. Chapoutier CNDP La Bernardine 2012/13 75cl
Chateauneuf-du Pape La Bernardine is part of the Chapoutier family tradition since 1808. The vinification of the three grapes, Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre, is carried out in the traditional way in concrete tanks following a fermentation of three weeks on a high temperature to make sure that both tannin and colour are well expressed and enhanced. The taste is showing an intense red with complex aromas of plum, blackcurrant, spices and liquorice and morello cherries.Read more...
