Henri Giraud Argonne 2008 Vintage Champagne 75cl
Henri Giraud Argonne 2008 Vintage Champagne comes presented in a completely unique and limited edition packaging, designed by Japanese architect Shigeru Ban. Inspired by the Far East and made with only simple, natural materials, the Argonne is encased in a cardboard tube with crisscrossed cardboard batons that crade the bottle within the tube. The bottle design is just as interesting, individually engraved and numbered, embossed with gold leaf and sealed closed and enclosed with a staple remover, a tool gilded with fine gold, specially created by the Henri Giraud house to uncork its special vintages.

What's in the bottle? Made exclusively from grapes from Grand Cru vines in Ay, which have been weighed, tasted and tracked to the very vine and the individual details are displayed on each bottle. The name derives from the forest of Argonne, vinified in small oak barrels from the forest and Henri Giraud selects each individual tree. The Argonne 2008 is a truly special champagne.
"The finest Champagne house virtually no one has ever heard of" - Robert Parker, leading wine critic.
