Four Pillars Australian Christmas Gin Edition 2018 70cl is the creation of Cameron MacKenzie, the owner and distiiller, who wanted to make a tribute to the four things he loves: Australia, Christmas, Gin and his late mum, Wilma. Each year Wilma would make Christmas puddings on Victoria Derby Day while the rest of the family watches the races. So a couple of years a ago Cameron put some puds made to her recipe in the botanical basket of Wilma (the still) and distilled a gin. As he was also working on a gin aged in 80 years old Muscat barrels, he decided to blend these together and add a bit of Classic rutherglen Muscat.
The result is a Gin that tastes like Christmas.
