Denbies Cubitt Blanc de Blancs 2013 English Sparkling Wine is composed of exclusively hand-picked Chardonnay from the hillside vineyard of the Denbies Estate in Surrey. During winemaking, a gentle pressing and a slow, cool fermentation takes place to ensure premium quality is maintained. The wine is then ages on the lees for 6 months and then a further 40 months on lees in the bottles to allow complexity to build.

Grape: Chardonnay
Bursting with fresh, citrus aromas and notes of green apple and white fruits which develop into vanilla and minerality. The palate is also fresh with a creamy mouthfeel and balanced acidity. It reveals flavours of brioche, butter and toast.
A wonderful aperitif or pair with dishes of shellfish and oysters. Apple and cinnamon pie is also an excellent match with this wine.
