Cheval des Andes 2015 Argentina Red Wine 75cl
Cheval des Andes 2015 Argentina Red Wine 75cl vintage is an elegant wine with captivating aromas and a precise, balanced palate. 2015 had high temperatures from winter to summer which threatened ripening but the year was 'saved by the rain' in February bringing great freshness.
The harvest took 15 days: the last week of March for Malbec and the first week of April for the Cabernet Sauvignon. 2015 marks a change in the barrels used - the team significantly increased the proportion of 400 and 500 litres tonneaux in order to preserve more of the fruit's crispness.

Grape: Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec
2015 is a very elegant, discrete and subtle year with a more distinct Bordeaux style than its predecessors.
The nose is elegant and discrete with aromas of liquorice, menthol and camphor that play along with the primary notes of wild fruits and blueberries. These aromas leave space for an intense tertiary bouquet of anise, leather, clove and balsamic. The mouth is sharp, fresh and subtle. It exhibits the precise balance and finesse of the year. Roundness comes from our octogenarian Malbec vines and structure from the Cabernet Sauvignon.
