Chateau Musar Red 2012 is an intense, bold vintage for this iconic wine. A very hot vintage which produced a small crop that was concentrated, ripe, and high in both potential alcohol and acidity.
Flavours are on the dark fruit spectrum, and on the sweeter and riper side compared to other vintages of Musar. There are plenty of those spicy, animal notes that are so typical of this marvelous estate.
This is only just entering its drinking window and could be cellared with confidence should you wish.
