Château Musar 2008 Bekaa Valley 75cl
Chateau Musar 2008 Bekaa Valley Lebanon Red Wine 75cl is dark red in colour, with a nose which is a complex mixture of dried fruits, leather, and many secondary flavours you would recognise throughout the 2008 earthiness. On the palate, this fine lebanese wine exhibits ripe black cherries, figs hints of chocolate and olives. The Musar 2008 has a slight acidity with nice smooth tannins resulting in a wine which is full-bodied, with a rich and excellent finish.

Grape: Cabernet Sauvignon, Carignan, Cinsault
2008 saw snow in January and rain until 23rd of February. Following this, there was no rain in the Bekaa Valley for the rest of spring and the whole of the summer. The grape varieties reached maturation at the same time giving balanced qualities to the early harvest.
An alluring nose of black and red fruits, coffee and leather lead to a palate of good, natural intensity with integrated tannins and great acidity. This is a rich, warm and concentrated Vintage from Chateau Musar.
