Chateau Musar 2003 Bekaa Valley Lebanon Red Wine 75cl
Chateau Musar 2003 Bekaa Valley Red Wine is rich in both alcohol and acidity. The wines matured in cement vats followed by French Nevers oak barriques giving superb ripeness, great balance, rich texture and soft tannins. This Vintage Lebanese wine is deep and intense with cigar box and toasted bread aromas. This is a full-bodied wine with great, powerful length.

2003 saw no rain at all from mid-April onwards and it became very warm and sunny. A 10-day heatwave struck in May reducing the harvest quantity by about 10%. As a result, there was a high concentration of sugar and acidity in the grapes.

On the nose, this wine holds fresh tea, plum and eastern spice notes with a palate of mature fruits such as plums, figs and cherries with hints of dark chocolate.
Delicious when paired with strong and full red meat dishes.
