Bodega Numanthia 2019 Red Wine Spain 75cl
Bodega Numanthia 2019 is the signature expression of the winey and the diversity of the terroir is showcased. Fruit was handpicked from over 100 different parcels to craft a blend that showcases the best of Toro’s eight different terroir types. Aged for 16 months in French oak barrels, 60% new and 40% old, the resulting wine has a unique balance of elegance and power with complex aromas and deep, round tannins, fine structure and precision.
Numanthia is known for being one of the most intense and elegant wines from Spain. Meticulous work on the vineyards the winery cultivates within the hundred hectares it owns in the Toro appellation results in a wine of contrasts, a superb and rounded red wine.
The 2019 wine will age with grace for at least 20 years.

2019 is characterised by a dry Spring and Summer with average temperatures. Several storms in July and August provided enough rainfall to ensure good sanitary quality and ripening. The harvest was brought forward by several days to maintain a good level of ripening.
