The Billecart-Salmon Rendezvous No. 2 Pinot Noir Champagne is produced from the finest grapes from the villages of Ambonnay and Verzenay of the Montagne de Reims. 100% Pinot Noir is carefully hand-harvested, after vinification, the wine is aged for over five years on the lees. This is an Extra Brut style of Champagne only a very small liqueur d’expédition is added before final corking.
The House of Billecart Salmon is located in Mareuil-sur-Aÿ and has belonged to the same family since 1818. Two brothers from the sixth generation, Antoine and François Roland-Billecart today run the Champagne house.
